A creamy stew, you can really crave that once in a while. This stew packed with delicious flavorings is one that you must have tasted at least once.

Ingredients
- 8 star anise Star Anise (Whole)
- 12 cloves Cloves (Whole)
- to taste Black Pepper (Whole)
- to taste Coriander / Dhania (Whole)
- 500 g Dried Rice Noodles
- 2 cinnamon sticks Dalchini (Cinnamon Sticks)
- 4 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 large onion sliced
4 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 medium yellow (kalabasa) pumpkin diced
250 ml water
Salt to taste
250 g green beans
Preparation method for Coconut pumpkin stew (Ginataang Kalabasa)
- Saute the onion and garlic for about a minute or until soft and fragrant.
- Add the diced squash and saute for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk and water and stir gently. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until the squash is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Season to taste with salt or as needed. Add the green beans and simmer for another 2 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy!
